Thousand Oaks Relay For Life is a 24 hour event held May 18-19 10am to 10am. DART members contributed their time to this 24 hour event providing first aid; happily there were no serious incidents during the 24 hour event. Members of DART, VIP and TOPD joined family and friends to form Team Over The Rainbow, led by Team Captain April Kittel, which helped raise over $5,000 in finding a cure for cancer and came in 5th Place out of 65 Relay For Life teams. Because of all the hard work and time of all the members team Over The Rainbow also went away with a certificate for Best Decorated Campsite. DART members contributions helped to make the event safer and helped our team raise money to fight cancer.
