DART Elects New Board of Directors for FY 2020-2021

Thousand Oaks, CA.: The City of Thousand Oaks’ Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) elected a new executive Board of Directors. The general meeting June 25, 2020 was conducted online using video conference software and the election was tabulated with electronic polling software. Due to the worldwide pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, this is the first time in the team’s history since 1994, where video conference and electronic voting was approved and utilized. Board members elected are: Chairperson – Thomas Horan, Vice Chairperson – Tammy Adams, Operations – Davidson Adler, Secretary – Mieke Miller, and Treasurer – Paul Warren. The directors will serve from July 1, 2020 though June 30, 2021. The 30 member volunteer uniformed team is administered and supervised by the Thousand Oaks Police Department Liaisons, Sergeant Dillan Alvarez and Sr. Deputy Rob Brady.
