Thousand Oaks Disaster Assistance Response Team provides first aid to patients at community events and when called-out in emergency situations. All DART members are traind in First Aid, AED and BLS CPR. Additionally many members are certified as Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) and have taken 56 hours of training! Emergency Medical Responders have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide immediate lifesaving interventions while awaiting additional EMS resources to arrive.
