No sooner had @TO_DART uniformed volunteers signed into service Tuesday night, when Sheriff dispatch requested a lane closure to aid a stranded motorist on Lynn Rd. in Thousand Oaks. Team members Thomas Horan, Paul Warren, Buzz Guilbault, and Patrick Newburn responded and coordinated the traffic duty without incident. The patrol included focused visits to the Hill Canyon Water Treament facility off Santa Rosa Rd, as well a fire watch in the Dos Vientos neighborhood of Newbury Park. The team also attended the shift briefing prior to patrol, and received a brief awareness training on Human Trafficking from Sergeant T. Miller.
