DART Provides First Aid
at Annual Chili Cook-Off
Once again for several years, Thousand Oaks DART has provided First Aid service for the Thousand Oaks Rotary’s Chili Cook Off. The public spent the afternoon sampling delicious chili, listening to LIVE bands on 2 stages, at Conejo Creek Park on May 5, 2019. Hundreds attended the event which included a brew festival and classics car show. DART volunteers are regularly deployed by the Thousand Oaks Police Department to support community events. 24 year DART member Ed Hufschmidt (shown above) managed the logistics of the treatment area, along with first aid providers Sharon Oshana, Kim Aguilar, Barry Maultasch, and Buzz Guilbault.
